BUILDING WORLDS AND CONNECTIONS THAT
REIMAGINE OUR HUMANITY.
Our Foundation
Founded by Michael Che Romero and Seema Mishra in Los Angeles, Vivache has grown from a vision into a movement. We've completed 250+ art installations—large and small—across the United States and internationally, from the iconic Chinatown Historical Landmark Mural to massive highway installations, from college campuses to corporate towers. Every wall tells a story. We make sure it's worth telling.
Muralism is our foundation—and always will be. But like any true renaissance practice, we've expanded into sculpture, film, documentaries, interactive installations, and animation. We use cutting-edge technology to create experiences that engage all the senses while honoring the tradition of art made by hand.
Our Leaders
Michael Che Romero
Chief Creative Officer & Lead Artist
Michael Che Romero is a classically trained artist and lifelong creative whose practice spans murals, sculptures, and visual interventions across multiple mediums—he works in whatever form the space and vision demand. A Renaissance man educated at Central Washington University, his early exposure to painting in elementary school revealed the magic of imagination and its limitless potential. From this foundation, he brings intellectual discipline and aesthetic mastery to every project, treating each intervention as a problem to solve: how does this place want to be transformed? What does it need to say? His conviction is singular: creative work belongs in human places, and that scale, craftsmanship, and intentionality can transform not just the physical environment but how people experience being human within it. Concrete Gallery, his documentary debut, makes this visible through the Pathways of Hope project—15,000 square feet of murals in Commerce that bring the community to life on the walls, celebrating who they are through thoughtful, locally rooted symbols and color that enable belonging and visibility. Michael's duty is clear: paint the world, make it beautiful, and uplift humanity.
Seema Mishra
CEO & Executive Producer
Seema Mishra is an executive leader and cultural strategist whose career in global higher education taught her that lasting transformation happens through strategic vision and relentless execution. With degrees from the University of Chicago and the London School of Economics, she architected innovations—building university systems across multiple markets, pioneering industry-aligned learning models, and orchestrating international expansion—before recognizing that public interventions could accomplish at street level what institutions accomplish: shift how people see themselves and their world. As CEO, Executive Producer, and Curator of Vivache Designs, she runs a studio built on a singular conviction: art belongs in human places. She operationalizes this through strategic placemaking—expanding reach and capabilities to create interventions that build identity, enable belonging, and shift consciousness. Concrete Gallery represents the synthesis of her vision: a documentary that positions such work not as ornament but as essential practice. Seema is building a new kind of studio, one that proves creative work is how we change the world.
Together, with a diverse collective of graphic designers, muralists, sculptors, data scientists, engineers, and storytellers, we don't just talk about it. We execute. We're culture creators.
Meet the Team
Our Approach
Every project is different. Some demand deep community engagement and research—understanding the history of the land, the people who move through the space, the stories that need to be told. Others call for pure creative freedom—letting our minds go wild to create something unexpected.
What stays constant: we design with purpose. We translate ideas into visual language—composition, color, form, and scale that holds meaning. Our work is built to perform across distance, light, and time. Built to last. Built to matter.
Our Commitment
We care deeply about community. About humanity. About the power of art to transform not just physical spaces, but the people who inhabit them.
We don't settle. We don't compromise on quality. We don't make work that's forgettable.
We make work that belongs to the place it lives. Work that becomes part of the fabric of a place—present, permanent, and impossible to ignore.
