Give In To The Desert™

The desert doesn't ask for your attention. It takes it.

At The Westin Rancho Mirage, we created the first mural ever commissioned on-site. Thirty feet long, twenty feet high, and rooted in the Coachella Valley.

Give In To The Desert mural at The Westin Rancho Mirage, with a desert sunflower, burrowing owl, tortoise and jackrabbit, by Vivache Designs

A dramatic sunset illuminates the San Jacinto Mountains. A tile medallion transforms into a bursting desert sunflower—echoing how the sun explodes over the valley. A burrowing owl takes flight. A tortoise and a jackrabbit hold their ground. All of them native. All of them home.

The sign—Give In To The Desert—adds a pop of mid-century modern, honoring Palm Springs history and inviting everyone who passes to do exactly that.

This is art in human places. A wall that tells you where you are, and asks you to stay awhile.

Design to fabrication—entirely ours.
