Our Mural Artist, Michael Che Romero travels to Melbourne to paint an amazing Street Art Lion King Mural. He speaks on his experience painting this mural in Melbourne. ”Life inspires my art and art inspires my life. I have an affinity for lions because I am a Leo and share the same birthday as Madonna. After 14hrs. of painting in the cold winter weather in Melbourne this mural turned into a reality. It was great chatting with all of the curious street art explores that stopped by. There were many people from all over the world and some locals including a couple of high school classes, a street art tour, some Germans and even a fellow Los Angelean. The people in Melbourne were extraordinary. I painted this mural next to the The Butterfly Club in Melbourne.

I really appreciated the Long Blacks (Americanos) and the Flat Whites (Lattes) that people brought me during the cold winter weather with the occasional rainstorm. Melbourne is a magical place and an epicenter for Street Art. It was really easy to fall in love with this city, the people, the art, the culture, and the food.”
